This device series has dual power rails, one analog and one digital. The analog power rail can handle up to+36 V voltage and can be used as a dual track (± 18 V) relative to digital logic ground. MCP45HVx1 has a write latch (WLAT) function, which can suppress volatile brush registers from updating (latch) through received data until the WLAT pin is low.
